Sending a Quote to Your Client

Sending a Quote to Your Client

How to publish and share a quote with your client for review and acceptance.

Publish and share

Once your quote is ready, click Send Quote. This:

  1. Publishes the quote and generates a unique client-facing URL
  2. Sends an email to your client with a link to view the quote
  3. Sets the quote status to Sent

Your client can open the link on any device — no account or login required.

The client view

Your client sees a clean, branded page showing:

  • Your business logo and details
  • All line items with descriptions and pricing
  • Totals and tax breakdown
  • Terms & conditions
  • Action buttons: Accept, Decline, or Request changes

Quote statuses

Status Meaning
Draft Not yet sent — only visible to you
Sent Shared with client, awaiting response
Accepted Client clicked Accept
Declined Client clicked Decline
Expired Past the expiry date without a response

Re-sending and duplicating

  • Resend — Click the ··· menu on a sent quote to resend the email with the same link.
  • Duplicate — Create a copy of any quote as a new draft. Useful for repeat work.

Reverting to draft

If you need to make changes after sending, click Revert to draft. This hides the quote from the client until you send it again.
