Collecting Payments Online
Accept client payments directly through your quotes using Stripe.
How payments work
QuoteCrest uses Stripe Connect to collect payments. When a client pays through a quote, the money goes directly into your connected Stripe account. QuoteCrest takes a small platform fee at the time of payment.

Setting up payments
- Go to Billing → Payment Collection
- Click Connect Stripe Account
- You'll be redirected to Stripe to create or link your account
- Once connected, your quotes will show a Pay now button to clients
The payment flow
- Client accepts the quote
- Client clicks Pay now on the accepted quote
- Client enters card details (Stripe-hosted, PCI compliant)
- Payment is collected and deposited into your Stripe account
- You receive a payment notification email
- The quote is marked as Paid
Payouts
Stripe handles payouts to your bank account on a rolling basis (typically 2 business days after a charge). You can view payout schedules in your Stripe Dashboard.
Payment history
Go to Payments in the main navigation to see all collected payments, their amounts, and associated quotes.
Disconnecting Stripe
Go to Billing → Payment Collection and click Disconnect. This removes the connection but does not affect past payments.
