Electronic Signatures

Electronic Signatures

Let clients sign quotes digitally — no printing required.

How e-signatures work

On Pro and Business plans, clients can sign accepted quotes directly in the browser using a signature pad. The signature is stored alongside the accepted quote.

Enabling signatures

Signatures are available automatically on Pro and Business plans. No setup required — the signature pad appears on the client portal when the quote is in the Sent state.

The signing flow

  1. Client opens the quote link
  2. Client clicks Accept
  3. A signature pad appears — client draws their signature with mouse or touchscreen
  4. Client clicks Confirm signature
  5. The quote is marked as Accepted with the signature captured
  6. You receive an email notification

Mobile signing

Clients on mobile can sign directly on their touchscreen. The signature pad is optimised for both finger and stylus input.

Viewing signatures

Open the accepted quote and scroll to the Signature section to view the captured signature and acceptance timestamp.

Frequently asked questions

Is the signature legally binding?
E-signatures on quotes are generally enforceable in most jurisdictions under electronic signature laws (e.g. eIDAS in the EU, ESIGN in the US). We recommend consulting a lawyer if you need certainty for high-value contracts.

Can I download a signed copy?
The accepted quote with signature can be printed or saved as a PDF directly from the browser using File → Print → Save as PDF.
